Just bought a new ARE CAP and was wondering if i am missing anything from the purchase. I have until tomorrow to change anything if needed. Here is the following:
    ARE CX series cap
    front tilt down slider window
side windows: glass windoor DS and PS
    Double t lock rear door
dome light w prop switch and dual rope lights
    carpet headliner
roof tracks only- with these tracks, will the prinsu rack work or do i have to get "special tracks"?
    12v power plug

    Any help is appreciated.

You just need to know which brand of tracks you have since hardware will vary. My ARE came with Thule tracks. Those are what you need to mount roof racks including prinsu

The Thule and Yakima tracks are compatible.

I use Yakima racks on my ARE MX. Bought in 2016 so I don't know if ARE has switched to Thule's. Or as noted above, maybe both both manufacturers use the same tracks?

You will be glad you got the tilt-in window. I cheaped out and didn’t. The space between the cab and front of the cap is so narrow it is really difficult to clean the glass on either. Sounds like you have a great cap headed your way. The wait is the hardest part :)

It’s been 9 years and I’ve never cleaned the glass

Yeah, it really doesn’t get very dirty. The only time it’s a problem is down at the coast after a few days.

I’m probably due! I’m used to driving work vans with No glass so I drive with my side mirrors and never use the rear view.

+1 to this. The track hardware between the two brands is interchangeable.

I'm in the same boat, but I didn't get the fold-down slider because I thought it was one less thing to leak.
Now I'd like to clean the glass. Have you found anything that fits in there?

I wrap a cheap microfiber cloth around a piece of pool noodle. Shove it through from side to side with a broomstick.

Where you located? Mind sharing how much you paid. I've been looking at getting same setup but the HD version.
