Cig lighter replacement

I’m looking for input on whether or not it’s possible to replace the cig lighter with a USB charger without making any wiring changes other then maybe crimping some new connections on the end. If this is possible is there a plug that y’all recommend? Something with enough power (amps) to charge an iPad relatively quickly.

If you want to completely swap out the cigarette lighter, you could use something like this:

The second option would require taking a lot of trim peices off and some minor new wiring. I'm not 100% sure what gauge wire and what amperage fuse the cigarette lighters use--I would double check, but should be OK to just wire something like the above up.
