Not really a complaint, i do like these Elkas.

... i am hitting the remote res. with my tires... hard turning with a bump, like a curb/tree/rock.
I think it just need to be moved up in the resi mount more... user install error...now back to your regular programing.

What wheel/tire set up are you running?

Until a week ago I had 265/75r16's on TRD Offroad wheels with no problems.
I just mounted 255/80r17's on new 4runner Pro wheels and haven't had any issues either.
I just went out and checked at full lock and the tire isn't really even close to rubbing the resi's.

    Cheers

Only hit 2 times, full steering lock and a BAM curb like shot.

I have a weird setup from most.
American Racing wheels 16x8, 0 offset.
    Kenda Kleever 285/75/16r.
Had to shave 2mm off the brake caliper to fit without wheel spacer, had a 1/4" on untill i shaved the caliper.

    Just hitting the passenger side.
I think i have not pushed the resi UP into the mout enough.
    ...user install error

Only had mine for about 6 months.

These things do really good in a hi-speed offroad setting, really eats up the harsh stuff.

Very firm in the on-road environment.
If i get under half a tank of gas its almost to firm for me... not really harsh though.

    Love these things offroad!
...They do make alot of noise as they work.

    Hey Marie!

It's only been over a year, but just wanted to share since the suspension is FINALLY installed. Everything w/ these Elka's so far has been great. Install, initial ride/lift etc. Can't wait to really get them off road soon & run them through their paces.

I’m looking at getting a set of Elkas for my truck. Everyone that got them, how’s it going? Likes? Dislikes?
