Anyone have the Hondo Un-holey bundle? Happy with it? I’m just about fed up with moving my phone around the cup holders.

I ran the first version for a year or so. It worked well I just got tired of losing the use of one of the vents. The newer version looks better and leaves more use of the vent it goes in but I believe it still stops the ability to fully open/close and rotate the vent. I've been much happier with different options.

Probably Plano. GV doesnt have any GX's on the lot I like. I have a few more things to figure out before I come look at it.

I installed the DMM. Really like it. Easy install, and you can choose where the phone ends up (and keep it from blocking the air or your vision). I paired it with a RAM arm and their x-grip holder.

I liked the also. It gave a lot of options and didnt take a vent. @Beef Nachos I have one I can sell to you for cheaper than new if your interested, may even come with a second ball mount that I bought and never installed on it. No arm or phone mount which you would need for it though. Those got transferred over to its replacement. I also did not like the phone mount that is a part of the Un-holy bundle. It got replaced with a Ram x-grip that I find much nicer to use.

I looked at that but didnt care for the slide adjustability option over slim design of the DMM I had.
Love my 3TPAM. The power in it is the best part. Now I dont have to have a power cord ran down to the USB/12v outlet and have 2 more powering locations!
:rofl:He's always got work to get done at the shop. It would just be a garage otherwise!

Have you checked out the Expedition Essentials TPAM? Mounts on that shelf above the radio and allows you to mount RAM balls and the mounts that attach to them. Mine arrives tomorrow, but not sure when I’ll be able to install it, but I’ll post pics!

I just started my search and it’s a popular option, so I started there. I think I decided on that option, even though I hate the relationship between the space it takes up (plus gadgets) and the windshield visibility. Saves me the me effort of wiring new power for each gadget. :annoyed::notsure:

Its low enough it doesnt affect windshield visibility and you can arrange your devices to stay below it also. A larger device like a tablet may block a little but I dont have a tablet or holder to test this. I may be getting one in a ~11" tablet in a month or so and will likely set it up with arms so that its off towards the passenger side and blocks as little or none of the windshield. I never have passengers so if I block that vent I wont really care.

Agreed, it doesn’t obscure your view.
But it does mount your phone higher, so you don’t have to look as far down for directions, etc.

You ever try a tablet mounted on yours? My sister is going to sell me an old an iPad Air or iPad Pro. Think I'm gonna try for the Air since it has the built in GPS and is 1" smaller, both are around 11"-13".

Nope. My tablet is huge, and my phone is big enough. Maybe if I had an iPad mini or something.
