My truck started throwing lights/codes today. I figured out the problem was a blown STOP fuse in the fuse box in the engine bay, caused by an issue with my cap dome light wiring. Swapped in a new fuse and fixed the wiring, now I just need to clear the lights/codes. Will they go away on their own? If I have to clear them, is there way to do it without an OBD2/ABS scanner? Thanks!

Welp, just figured I'd update this thread so people know how it was resolved (because unresolved threads are like warm beer, and we all know what warm beer does.....).

Once I put the new fuse in, all the lights went out and all systems are go. No need to do any special tricks or use any scanner etc. At the time I created the thread I was under the impression I had the new fuse in there but after trying all the tricks (on/off 8 times, disconnecting the battery etc) I checked the fuse box again and apparently I had pulled the old fuse but forgot to put the new one in.......:anonymous:

The upside of being a dumbass is that it's usually an easy fix :D
