Oh man you're gonna get some hate for that one.

Real detailers buy from an industrial supply and dilute down because they only profit if they can keep the margins low. The last detailer I went to used some weird homebrew armor-all shit. The same bottle was used on both interior and tires. Same rag too. I went to them so I wouldnt have to waste my weekend cleaning cars, and wound up spending a few hours removing that greasy smear off my dash anyway. I was not pleased.

I'll take my more 'spensive consumer marketed products over homebrew anyday, because chances are a real detailer isn't more proficient with chemistry than the big brands.

I use P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner to remove dirt/oils, and then for protection, I'll follow up with 303 Aerospace Protectant.

Just remember you will need to buff it off a little. Works great. I use it for all my vinyl surfaces and including my soft topper.

I have used 303 and i liked it. In fact it was most excellent on the vinyl parts of my Pop up campers tent portions. I thought it was actually a little too shiny on the dash but good on other plastic and rubber trim. I'd like to try something else on the interior.
Has anyone tried Adams microban interior detailer?
I'm not sure where to find it locally other than ordering from Amazon

    It's matte, hardly no shine.

As far as cleaning goes, my interior is never dirty to test the cleaning ability. Plus the scent doesn't last long if that is a concern.

I replace the 303 with Poorboy's World Natural Look Dressing. I like it better.

Mine is never really dirty and if it was I'd use simple green to clean up first. I just don't want a super shiny greasy protectant. I have to see what poorboy's is like.

It's shinier than the Adams but it's less shine than the 303.

I started using Wolfgang Rinseless Wash UBER diluted down into a detail spray. Also works great on glass. My windows have never been cleaner. 3 ounces to a gallon of distilled water. Also makes a great drying aid.

Wolfgang has the new UBER with Sio2 I have been wanting to order. I know it will be great stuff! wg-uber-sio2-rinseless-5.jpg

I have tried both Chemical Guys and new ArmorAll, and both leave a crappy, gritty residue on my dash that I do not like. Not sure if it may be the extreme summer sunlight here in northern California, or something else, but I may give 303 or one of the other products mentioned here a try next time.

Aerospace 303 on everything. Boat seat upholstery in particular.

I buy it by the gallon.
