Does this exist?

So I need a new "cap," the one that covers the B+ bolt on the alternator. In case there is a difference, it's a 2013 Base with 2.7.

It's a gray right angle cap/cover that snaps over the bolt, I assume to keep anything from touching the bolt during operation.

I called the local dealer, and he said there is no part number for it, and it looks like it only comes with a new alternator?

 

It does (or did) exist.
The problem with this type part is that it can be time consuming to find in the parts diagrams.
You need to know the your Frame or Vin number.
Then go here and find your part.
(Hint: it’s probably going to be located under “wiring and clamp”)

TnShooter, you are a god! For anyone else (I cant' imagine anyone else would be stupidly an@l like me), I called the dealer and it is replaced by 82823-08010.

 

Just make sure that’s the correct one.
Since I don’t know your Frame/Vin, I just chose a random base model with 2.7.

Ha! Yeah, I originally wrote it with a "G," but I figured these days some people might view it as blasphemous...

 

82823-22050 is the cap for all 2005-2021 Tacoma models, with 2TR and 1GR engines (replaced by 82823-08010 for service replacement in Canada/USA).

The cap isn't listed for the 2016-2021 3.5L, however 82823-22050, 82823-08010, or 82823-26020 will likely fit without issue.
