Help with axle housing replacement

    I have a bent housing and it needs to be replaced. Toyota quoted me $1600 for the fix, so that makes me want to do it myself. I have the tools and the mechanical ability just not the experience. I guess I am asking for people who have experience to fill me in on what it will entail. Is this extremely hard and time consuming? My research so far makes me thing it wont be too bad.

    Thoughts on where to get a good used one?
    How do I find a part number for it?
    It needs to fit a 2006 TRD Sport with LSD
    Did this particular housing come on other models and years?



    Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.
