    It’s actually not that bad. It’s a hassle 5-6 weeks out of the entire year. The rest of the time it’s very easy to maintain.

    With that said, my wife, kids and realtor know to not even consider showing me a house where to pool is surrounded by shedding trees of any type.

    There are Elm trees all around our pool here that shed both spring and fall. There’s days during both seasons where you can skim the top of the pool for an hour and it won’t look like you did a thing.
