I’m happy with Well Visors. They mount on the outside via 3m and clips. Majority here hates it, but i like the streamline look. Had AVS in channel and didn’t like the look.

My ex G/F had the in channel WT on her 4 Runner. I helped her install and I noticed they were noticeable thicker than the AVS and were more difficult to install. Also notice the pressure when the window was put up. I believe the rear window channels didn't even have adhesive (just friction fit). Both had fallen off multiple times.

Can't speak to the one's for the Tacoma.

Also a weathertec person here. I have had issues w/ the rear ones. Granted, they were installed for probably 7-ish years before this happened, but the rear passenger side blew off on the highway one day. A year or two later, the other side started to do the same. I was able to pull over and rescue that one before it became roadside debris again. No issues with the fronts however and I'm now somewhere around 10 or 11 years with them on.

I've had no problem with the in channel AVS ones. Now that I am no longer in the south, I will probably take them off.

No--only needed them in the south for ventilation while parked in the stupid heat of spring, summer, and fall.

Ahh. well...not sure how far north you are, but I can tell you I've appreciated mine every summer in the heat and every time it rains.

It doesn’t rain where you live ? They work well in the rain as you can open your window some and get fresh air without getting wet

Warn winch bumper and winch. Prinsu roof rack,Full grille replacement with ridgid duallys mounted behind, and 17" SCS bronze wheels with copper 255/80/17 ,
I have / had the AVS in channel. I have a big dog that rides with me. He likes the window down :) In the last year he has knocked both rear window deflectors off and out. Anyone have a solution? Different product or maybe a 3M solution. Will buy another set of rears if there is one :)

Bought a pair of WeatherTech for my 2011 AC, put them in my 2013 AC, they've been perfect. Same pair. 2 trucks. 6 years. I forget they're there.

I like the AVS in channel ones...dont effect the window operation, great for letting some fresh air in on rainy days, give a little shade, and I like the look

No, they are not a fix for the Toyota kazoo. The dealer replaced seal did completely fix the problem for my truck.

My 2nd favorite color...behind Timberland Mica of course. Don't see too many of either around here.
