Help me pick a tattoo

    Help wanted: a badass idea for a tattoo. Original designs preferred. Wall Art need not apply.

    Back story- Peer pressure. When I best-manned my best friends wedding, he got a tattoo as part of the bachelor's celebration. Part of the bargain was that I was supposed to get one when it was my turn to stand the altar and his to stand as my best man. Fast forward a year, I got married, but my skin remains as pasty and unmarred as the day I was born. I totally welched on the tat. And I was cursed for the welching - that marriage failed in spectacular fashion. Fast forward a few more years, my buddy has learned of my plans to marry again. His first reaction, and also every subsequent conversation has involved his asking what tattoo I was planning on getting. I dunno. I just know I can't welch again. This is my chance to redeem one of the few things I ever flaked on.

    I've drawn up a few designs, I've liked a few of them, but not one had been perfect. Help me find that perfect tattoo. This thread is not for pointing out my poor life choices, but encouraging them. Nothing's off the table. Be my muse, Tacoma world!

    What's something that you share with that friend of yours that could be a tattoo? He seems to be there for you through thick and thin. After you got that decide what style you think is best for that image. Then pick a good artist. Instagram is a great place to see peoples work. The first one is the hardest one, then it gets easier...
