Damn guys, you’re gonna make me wanna get bigger tires now and I’ve only had my Pro for 2 weeks now...

One of the main reasons I went for the Pro was because I wanted to stay stock and I liked how it looked stock but those 265/75/16 KO2s are sick.

    Ahahahahhahahaha.

I truly honestly 100% believed this is what I was going to do as well.

Now I have 265/75/16 tires, sliders and skid plates, tent and rack. I'm eyeing the Eibach TRD Pro spring upgrade that's being developed to handle the additional weight (along with a leaf pack replacement for the rear). And after that I will surely end up on 285/75/16 tires...

See, that's what I think will happen to me. I'll buy the tires, and then I'll get the spring upgrade, and then Ill regret the little (lol) tires.

But I'm also not made of money, so maybe that spring will have to wait until the next set of tires. I just can't wait to get new tires, the stock tires SUCK.

Have you looked into leaf packs yet? I see that monster thread about the Eibach springs, but haven’t actually found a solid solution for the rear. Is there one?

I’m either doing an Icon add a leaf or full RXT pack. Not sure which yet.

I think Eibach is going to offer a 1” block lift for the rear but I don’t want that.

not a pro, but has the 2020 pro suspension and rocking 285s with no rub, even on full flex. Just had to do some very minor trimming.

I’ll have to do some more digging. I was under the impression that the AAL would not yield awesome results when paired with the Pro suspension. Off to Google I go.

I’m not sure anything really will, especially if you have no additional weight in the rear. This could all be a stop gap before my TRD Pro suspension goes up for sale here some day...

Have you looked at the Wescott Designs lift kit? I was thinking about getting that one...

Yes, but from what I've gathered a spring upgrade is a better solution, happens to be cheaper, and that kit doesn't work with the 2020s last I looked.

edit: DERP. you linked to a 2020/2021 specific version. Cool.

Honestly don't know enough about suspensions to argue your first point, but they have updated the kits to be compatible with the 20-21 model years if that makes any difference.

I won't say I know enough to argue it either, this is just what I gathered from a million pages of people arguing about the merits of spacer vs spring lift (including whether this kit is really spacer or if the perch is any different) over in the thread about the Eibach TRD Pro springs.

Love it. Haven't really been offroad or in the snow to test yet but its very comparable to the TRD sport with a softer ride then my 5100s

If you find a reasonably priced lift solution that compliments/improves the TRD Pro suspension let me know! I have been searching and contemplating this since I purchased my 2018.

Right now my solution is to build my own leaf pack using another TRD Pro leaf pack, a Bastard Pack if you will. Use to do this on Jeep XJs to get the desired lift/ride. It'll be a lot of trial and error. I'm still in the collecting parts phase while waiting on the Eibach front spring replacement. Once I determine the amount of lift on the front, I'll shoot for about 1/2 to 1 inch more in the rear. I have about 600-700 pounds constant load in the back and I tow an off-road trailer. I currently hate the sag in the rear!

Didn't want to do white letters out? Such a clean look that way.
