Ready for the weekend but, I have to work Saturday. So I took Monday off. Lol! Then 4 days and vacation.

 

i haven’t seen anything but Anderson and way upper end lowers available.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything Aero. That's the only brand I will use. I think it's the best bang for the buck

it is good stuff. Look into ballistic advantage also. It’s the company that makes the barrels for aero and they have started making their own uppers / lowers.

 

I run their barrels I'd bet Aero makes their stuff and just puts their name on it. I've read that there are only a few companies that actually make lowers. They just put other's name on them...…...don't know how true that is though.

WARMING TREND CONTINUES: Temperatures are mostly in the 35-45 degree range across Alabama this morning, but we warm into the upper 60s this afternoon with a sunny sky… a few spots could touch 70 degrees. The average high for Birmingham on December 10 is 57. Tomorrow will be dry and mild with a high between 67 and 70, but clouds will increase tomorrow night.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: A cold front will bring rain back to the state Saturday. The day won’t be a total “wash-out”… a few scattered showers are possible during the morning, but rain will be more likely by afternoon. Some thunder is possible, but severe storms aren’t expected with very limited instability and dynamic support. Otherwise, Saturday will be a mostly cloudy day with a high in the mid 60s.

Sunday will be another mostly cloudy day with a high between 57 and 60 degrees. Then, another disturbance will bring rain back to the state late Sunday afternoon and Sunday night. The lower levels will be too cool for thunderstorms, and too warm for snow. Rain totals over the weekend will be between 1/2 and 3/4 inch for most of Alabama.

NEXT WEEK: Rain ends very early Monday, and the sky becomes partly sunny by afternoon with a high in the low 50s. Tuesday will be dry, but some light rain is possible late Tuesday night or Wednesday morning as another fast moving disturbance moves through. Wednesday will be colder with a high in the 47-51 degree range. Then, we expect dry weather Thursday and Friday with highs in the 50s. FOOTBALL WEATHER: Saturday, Alabama will take on Arkansas in Fayetteville (11:00a CT kickoff)… the weather looks dry but cold. The sky will be cloudy with temperatures rising from 39 degrees at kickoff, into the low 40s during the second half. Then, Saturday evening, Auburn travels to Starkville to taken on Mississippi State (6:30p CT kickoff). The sky will be mostly fair with temperatures falling the low 50s at kickoff, into the mid 40s by the final whistle.

ON THIS DATE IN 1961: It was the beginning of a three day severe weather event for the Deep South, which included 13 tornadoes. On December 10, 1961 an F3 tornado struck the eastern outskirts of Brewton, in South Alabama. The tornado devastated a 2 block area; seven homes were demolished and 12 more were heavily damaged.

ON THIS DATE IN 2002: A shower of tiny fish rained down on Korona, a village in the mountains of northern Greece. A Greek television reported a waterspout caused the incident on Lake Doirani.

I was out west in the desert a few months ago and saw a couple of tumbleweeds. LOL

 

Wish I was out West now and unable to reply due to no service.

 

I'd be out there now too, but it's sooooo cold out there at night right now

 

Pretty darn cold here. Of course I’m not as young as I once was so I like to be the perfect temp now at all times.

Good subject to talk about actually. Anyone in here run the We Boost, weboost, or whatever it is? And have a proper review of them?

When I was across I-10 all the way from Cali to Florida recently, I saw those on pretty much every pickup out west, all the guys that work on farms or oil fields, so I guess they must work pretty well or it wouldn't be worth the cost to have them on all those trucks??

 

Kevin from Lifestyle Overland has a pretty good review of the We Boost. They are just so expensive. Plus when I’m out I really don’t want service except for GPS.

 

I pre-downloaded the 4 corner states on google maps, it works very well without cell signal

 

I do that when im going somewhere when i have no service to make sure i can get home

 

I downloaded a bunch of google maps when I was out there too, mostly in Colorado. Didn't wanna get super lost. Worked great.
