Weight distribution hitch with sway control?

    I wanted to know is all weight distribution hitch with sway control the same? or is there a specific brand I should be looking for?

    I'm planning to tow a 1800BH springdale trailer.
    Any advise on what to buy? should i buy it from Amazon?

    reverse, as in, backing up. The opposite of forward. It’s up to you as to whether you want to be able to reverse.

    as for which one to buy, I can’t help much. My opinion goes as far as the one wd hitch I’ve used.

    check out the towing link, it helped me.

    I think there is some confusion.

    Hydraulic brakes on a trailer require a hydraulic cylinder on the coupler. This makes it hard to back up because you are activating the brake master cylinder in the trailer coupler.

    Most, if not all RV trailers use electric brakes. There is no effect on backing up with electric brakes.

    With that said; load distribution hitches are pretty similar. They all have adjustment.

    Some are more tolerant to "jack knifing" the trailer than others. That is really the only real difference.
