On the offroad you could also increase the tire size to 265/75/16 on stock suspension.

Add some curb feelers, fuzzy dice hanging on rear view mirror, dingle balls to outline the windshield in the cab. Then finish the look with leopard skin style seat covers. If you want to go whole hog, the cover the dashboard with some pink fuzzy carpet.

The girls will go nuts over the cool factor.

    Almost forgot.
Don't forget the footwell neon lights with matching under body neons. A nice touch would be neons behind the wheels and grill.

Removing the badges and decals is a quick, easy and free mod and makes the truck stand out.

That's TRUE!! Every time a Taco drives my in my area (there are lots of them) I never notice the ones with badges, I only notice the ones that were debadged! Who can explain it? :bananadance:

"Look Mabel, another customized debadged Taco just went by! I think I'm going to throw rocks at mine now. Stupid badges!"

    :santa2:

@CalcityRenegade just poking some fun at you, apologies in advance.

Check out some pics of the great builds people have shared on this site and you'll pretty quickly figure out what you think is cool. There's often a thread for your truck's colour, great for comparing wheel colours, tint, lights, tires, etc.

I bought a SR5 about a month ago. I'm still absorbing the initial price hit so my mods are simple and functional. Try this:

-Remove air dam and remove mud guards for a more aggressive look and ground clearance.
    -Chrome delete. Grill and badges
    -Paint bed bolts/tie downs black
-Get an oem skid plate (from an OR who upgraded). Protection from road kick up.
-Switch out interior lights for LED
    - pipe clamp on tail gate hinge. To prevent theft. Tail gates are often stolen and this will deter an opertunist.
    - AC drain pipe extension. Hose and clamp to prevent drainage on the frame. Allows ac to drip onto ground directly.

Lastly.... You bought a tacoma. The truck already looks cool stock. Welcome to the club. Maybe sunglasses, a leather jacket and top gun quotes to finish off your new image.

Tinting the front windows was one of the best things I did in the first month. Then some organizers in the glove box and console. Window rain guards are nice too.
