I like the shifter with the Japanese #’s. That’s cool.

That's interesting. I have pics somewhere with the Stock Sport knob and the delrin ball that @7r41lbr34k3r made for me. The ball is 162g. The Sport knob was a good bit heavier.

Without the aluminum core it would be much lighter, about 120g for solid delrin I think.

Brass brings it up to 350g.

Looks great! Tim did a great job hand polishing that for you. This style definitely ages like a fine wine.

@7r41lbr34k3r Any long term compatibility issues with a brass thread adaptor and the aluminum core?

On a side note, the thread adaptors (required for the core shifter and Hurst stick) are a PIA to remove. It got wedged in place in the stock knob. I had a make a new flat tip “screwdriver” to remove it.

Was so close to destroying it/stripping out the slot

I can't imagine there's anything to worry about, but you can use anti-seize on the aluminum side for insurance. This is if you want to keep the option to sell it later, otherwise I'd just red loctite that bitch in place.

Definitely not in time for Santa, but I'll update sometime in February in preparation for the next run.

The V1 MT (V3?) was redesigned to cover the chrome collar, and I may offer a simple sphere as a V4? offering as well.

Edit: This has been fixed. : Also working on a FB group for purposes of discussing all of my products in a single place, but for some reason when I created it my account got disabled.

Also, are there any vinyl decal guys on here who could make colored vinyl inserts for the version that has the shift positions? Would give it that extra touch!
