This is now a moot point; I'm 99% sure my clockspring was replaced back in 2017 or so as part of a recall. I went to my mechanic's for a tire rotation and he put the cruise control in the steering wheel at no extra charge (actually, it $20 for the labor of removing the airbag and steering wheel, and the tire rotation was free); Anyway, the OEM cruise control stalk bolted right onto my existing clockspring/steering wheel assembly without issue!

Turns out I am not going to need a new clockspring; The cruise control stalk bolted right in! My truck is not "factory prewired" but my mechanic is pretty sure he can get the wiring cheap from a wrecked donor Taco and plug it directly into my truck's ECU! Once again...

My mechanic is going to see if he can find the wire I need from a totaled donor truck...

I picked up this Corvette lamp at a garage sale about ten years ago for like twenty bucks; Literally just flickered and died, so I ordered a new lamp on Amazon!

That would be nice if he can locate a factory harness

My brief tenure as a detailer taught me to always keep a shammy in my truck!

Not prewired, but my mechanic has a plan; I’ve got the stalk wired up inside the steering wheel. No airbag light on and the horn works fine! Gonna wait until after Christmas to complete the project...

:santa: :santa2: The REAL final incarnation of my truck decorations; I’m serious this time! :D

Some of the lights on the back of the truck are usually set to "flash", but I set them all to "steady" for the pictures...

What are you going to do with the red one when you get all the parts you want off of it?
