    It went well. More pain afterwords than I expected, but I also cut myself off my pain meds early because, reasons. I was able to combat the remaining pain with ice packs, Tylenol, and edibles.

    The worst part was the anxiety leading up to it, and the second worst part has been not being able to help with the baby and do stuff around the house/yard. With the experience I had, I would definitely be less hesitant in the future.

    Don't know why you sent me a PM. IMHO any info provided should be accessible to all forum members, who can then decide for themselves whether it's treasure or trash.

    My last 3 vehicles were factory-treated with Cosmoline & I had no corrosion issues. With the Taco, I spent an inordinate amount of time researching various alternatives. Considered doing it myself, but that would've entailed buying jackstands, a compressor, respirator & bodysuit. Nah.

    Then I smacked myself in the noggin & realized I should just call Hicks, since they had demonstrated their knowledgeability, professionalism & superior workmanship in the past. Asked them if they did rust prevention & they said that they did & used Fluid Film. Bingo.

    They charged me a buck & a quarter. Pretty sure I could've had it done cheaper elsewhere, however I'd rather be certain that it be done thoroughly & properly. And I wanted it to be done on a lift as opposed to jackstands. Again, just personal preference.

    Hope this long-winded post helps.

    Had one done at age 6, which I may have gotten from lifting a tricycle over my head. Had one on the other side when I was probably around your age, which was more than a few years ago.

    Cranberry juice is good for the urinary tract & can aid in expediting the healing process.
