I hook my welder to the shop and back feed it to the house if our power goes out. We have gas heat and a gas water heater. It’s 8,500 watts and has no problems.

I think might have been T-yoda posted gif of guy bouncing up and down, where I lost it! OMG despicable, was that from one of those movies? I need to tell my cousin to come here for a good laugh. She's widowed but super cool girl, not a Tacoma but 2016 or 17 Tundra with 6" lift and big tires for her toy.

Every two years I have 8 cord of tree length dropped. I cut, split, and stack it all pretty much by myself. They say wood heats you three times. I think that statement is accurate.

I backfeed my air compressor circuit in my back shop. We have an oil boiler for heat/hot water, but my 6500 watt predator runs the well pump and everything pretty well.

I'd agree with that. I use to help my old man a lot with that. Just a couple years ago I rent a log splitter. Thats a time saver, still wrenches your back. Wood was to green for an axe. Just dropped from the same day. As a youth he taught me precision axe work. Amazing how well someone can use an axe with the right technique.
