All you need is the VIN. Do like I did go to Toyota website and find the Owners Section, create an account in your name and with the VIN. It will give you the complete Toyota service history.

I had been looking for a Toyota Tacoma for several months before I found the One I
have. 2012 Spruce Mica, Prerunner dcsb limited v6 80 K miles looks like new in and out.
Came with over $4K in upgrades , brand new Tires, Service records shows it was
maintained by a Toyota Dealership in Georgia. I paid $18K for it.

You did good on that 2012, mine was much like yours but 2015, 85k miles, one owner, maintained by selling dealership and I paid $26,400.

For the OP there is a black bumper for sale in the for sale section for $100 never installed.
Should you choose to have this 06 Tacoma. I myself would keep looking.
I looked for 8 weeks to find the right truck and kept seeing those plain janes for sale.
Many with a lot of miles and not very cheaply priced either. Then I thought wait
a minute, I live literally 1/4 mile from Mullinax Ford - I wonder if they have a Tacoma in Stock ?
The truck I have now is that one. The only one on the lot. when I went to pick it up
2 salesman were outside talking, and when I walked up to it with the keys, They said "Nice Truck"
And it sparkled like a diamond in the sunlight. Deep emerald (Spruce) green /gold metal flake.
