2020+ Panoramic Camera “Truck Color”

Don’t know if there’s a thread for this already, so I figured I post it, so everybody with a 2020+ could do the same.

I know it’s a super small detail, but I was pretty disappointed when I saw that the truck color on the panoramic camera display was white. Would’ve been alright, if I had a white truck, but I don’t.



HERE’S HOW

1. Start the truck (make sure your lights are off).
2. When the Home Screen appears, hold down the audio button.
3. Flip the light switch from DRL to ON 2-3 times.
4. A green and white screen will appear.
5. Select the function check/ setting.
6. Select camera setting
7. Select body color setting
8. Pick you preferred color (maybe your silver truck identifies as quick sand or army green idk).
9. Turn the truck off and press okay when prompted on the screen.
10. Enjoy your customized backup screen.

Beige

Blue

Silver

Red

Green

 

It's like a friggin video game cheat code with modern vehicles

 

I know. It doesn’t make any sense that they would hide this setting. Makes me wonder what else you can do when it comes to “cheat codes”.

 

No Lunar Rock. Sad.

Wonder if Toyota will care enough to do some type of software update and make this easier to find down the road.

Didn’t have MGM either, so I just used black. It’s closer to MGM than “grey”

 

My wife and I just had a long debate about this for Lunar Rock. We couldn't decide between Khaki, Grey or Green. We eventually agreed on Green.

 

Isn’t lunar rock just grey green and khaki lol

Update: Just ran out to the garage and changed it, it worked first time.

 

LR is like a combination of all 3 though.
