oooooh - that's nice. Was the install difficult? I need to do something like this before mine gets all nerfed up.

I'd recommend it. My truck only has 17K on it and I try to take good care of the interior.

Install was super easy. About 5 minutes. Wet install method so you can adjust if it isn't positioned well.

Final touches... I designed and printed these molle panels to fit on the underside of the lid. Also, I included two hose clips for my Camelbak bladder velcro'd in the corner.

Whats the angle of the rock lights? I just got the uptop overland ones and I planned to retrofit them onto my prinsu rack. If these would point the rock lights towards the ground I may reconsider.

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
I'm in the same boat with just over 3k too and I don't know there's any reason to go in there. Too early for tire rotation and I guess they can change the oil (which they won't do even though the 5k/6mo says there is one). Oil color is just starting to turn a little bit. At this rate, I may be at 5k around April of next year so it'll be 12mo for me then.

I might make it to 5000 by February or March. I do still to drive 8 miles to work each way 5 days.
I been checking my oil too, something I have a habit of doing a few times a month. Mine is getting darker and isn't clear like new. I'm going to change it myself since I have all the stuff and got a great deal on shell gas truck 0w20 when advance auto had quarts on clearance sale.

Posing-up, but I don't care I love the look of this grill.

    upload_2020-12-13_16-41-37.jpg

Also noticed in the Taco Twonz video they missed the two slide-in metal brackets on the original grill to hold the radar in securely. They just went with the one upper screw...
They slide out of the old grill and right into the new one.

Garnish snaps in with the bottom two snaps...
I found a 1/4" extension worked great to get the clips started on the upper two pins, and then a 10mm socket worked to hammer them home.
I placed a block under the garish with a piece of vinyl (soft thing to avoid scratches) to protect the garnish and give me something to hammer (lightly) against. Quick medium taps seemed to work well.

Have all the old pieces if anyone nearby (Ridgecrest, CA) needs them... Don't think it's worth shipping, but let me know if it's worth it to you.

Still need to get the new front camera mounted. Doing a little sanding and painting to the mount I designed, it's turning out well.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Absolutely nothing. Throttle response was better, but the engine noise was louder than the muffler, an not in a pleasant way. Almost a tank of gas before I took it out. No change to mileage. Are you running heavy?

Installed a set of generic mud flaps and the Toyota OEM power tailgate lock kit.

The tailgate lock kit install went well...no real problems. I just took my time and made sure it was being done correctly :)

Next upgrade will be the Redline Tuning hood strut kit - Amazon is supposed to deliver it Thursday.
