I have had my 2018 Tacoma, well since 2018, and finally had the guts to lift it. I put on an Old Man Emu lift and so far it is really good (tracks well and rides well) and wasn't difficult to install (given the right tools, equipment and help). The only issue I currently have is that there is a slight vibration when I break that wasn't there before. I am hoping that a front differential drop kit will help since the alignment didn't help. The next step is new wheels that I hope to have in a couple weeks. Looking forward to some snow runs in the PNW.

What part did you break? Or do you mean your brakes? Confused. How high is the lift? How about a drive shaft center carrier bearing spacer.,.?

Skip the diff drop. Not worth it.

Carrier bearing spacers should have come with the kit. Make sure you installed these. Even at only 2" lift, the spacer helps.

I have this kit (also on a black 2018) and it rides like a dream.

Double check torque on every. Last. Nut. In the front wheel wells. Quite a lot of things get moved around when you're installing those front coilovers.

    And welcome to TW!

Looking good. I'd try a carrier bearing drop and/or axle shims before the diff drop.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I did do the carrier bearing drop. My diff drop kit is somewhere on its way to Oregon in the USPS network. :( Hope to get it before July 4th!o_O I will double check the torques on everything this week. I was hoping to do all of it at the same time as I installed the diff drop but I think I need to do that sooner.

The parts arrived yesterday (amazingly). I hope to be installing the diff drop and torqueing everything tomorrow after work.
