If I get time I'll look to see if there was a PCV parts change, might be a couple days. Do you know if the smoking goes away after a certain year? If you end up pulling your engine I'd like to pull it apart and look at it. I haven't spent enough time on the internals of the 3.5 2gr so I don't know about the oil drain in the head. I can't imagine they changed it much over the 4.0l. I'd like to compare the 4.0 oil pan baffles to the 3.5 also.

 

If your intake is filling with oil and causing hydro lock that needs to be stopped. Hydro lock is bad times.

I've never have smoked my truck even when I expected it. I thought it would happen coming down the fall or going up the waterfall on gold bar. I have had it stall several times but I think it's because the ecu gets sassy about going backwards in drive on failed wall obstacles. Never have seen the low oil pressure either.

 

We'll see what happens next wheeling season. I've gone well past the red on the inclometer but haven't had an issue yet. I'll probably get a catch can before 'hopefully' it explodes.

But in all seriousness the heroin comment was kind of in poor taste as I know some good people who have been taken from that terrible crap. Some that have even served our country. We should be doing better for them and veterans in general. Either way I won’t be butthurt but kind of a *shit* post/joke
