I voted yes but technically I will get a bonus but haven't yet, they come right before Xmas. Were lucky where I work because we thankfully get a very nice cash bonus every year (supposedly based on performance and the company's annual profit). I guess the thing to consider is that our wages are not that high so the bonus usually balances that out. My bonus has grown every year for the 9 years I've been an employee which I hope means that I am performing well and the company continues to be profitable.

The really sickening part is when I see the taxes taken out of the bonus!

I would have had to do that operation on a lathe. That's cool you got CNC toys! And looks like it turned out very well indeed. On getting rusted fused together parts free...I've got a horror story. Take a novel to explain, so perhaps a very boring slow day or something. Short portion though; rose bud, kroil, 48" pipe wrench + 3' scaffold pole, supervisor running from shop so he didn't have to see...

Oh! I see the picture now! I get it. Fortunately not that bad but yeah you get the idea, he was nervous at the rose bud and then left in a haste when the flames from the kroil...heat draws it in. If something had gone horribly wrong it would have cost millions and I'd have been unemployed. Or promoted given the way thing work there...

Will I ever get a current tracking update?
Will my package ever leave origin (Fresno)?
Will USPS be able to deliver a letter with a tiny piece of metal in under 30 days (order placed on Thanksgiving)?

Stayed tuned for answers to these questions and more next week on another episode of "Where the F**k Is My Package?"
