I've been keeping a picture collection of Toyotas being used as technicals for a couple years. I watch a lot of international news so I always get excited seeing a 70 series used as a fighting implement. I like to imagine in Libya there's a forum like TW where people talk about how to up-armor their LCs. Here are a few of my favorites:

I once started a thread on this very subject and was told it was unpatriotic

 

As soon as I saw the thread title, the first thing I thought of was the metric boatloads of Hilux's that the Iraqi Police drove when we were in country.

 

My unit had some right hand drive manual Hilux's in Afghanistan, it was a blast driving those around.

 

They don't call the Tacoma the vehicular equivalent of the AK-47 for nothing.

 

I want one.
