First off a quick thank you to all the great contributors to the 3rd Gen. Tacoma forum. So much great information on this site.

I have been searching and was unable to find the particular combination of wheels and tires I am considering for my 2018 SR5. The truck is stock for now but a lift is in the future. I am in need of new tires and have been wanting a new set of wheels for a while. I was hoping that someone smarter than me could tell me if I would have any issues with rubbing if I use a set of BFG KO2’s 265/65R17 with a set of Method 703 17x8.5 0 offset rims. My thought was that since the KO2’s have an aggressive pattern that by reducing the profile of the tire (65 instead of 70 - 75) that it might clear without rubbing. Does anyone know for sure?
