I always wax my headlights twice a year when I wax my truck, hopefully that will make mine last longer.

This will always happen with any vehicle, plastic headlights will loose its clear coat and get yellowish over time. I miss when headlights were made out of glass.

Thanks for the replies! I guess I'll head over to my stealership aka my dealership and see if it still has warranty to cover it... hope it does

Just noticed this on mine the other day, both lights have some peeling.
I've got an appointment for the ECU TSB Thursday, I'll bring it up then so they can look at it and order parts (hopefully).

Every headlight manufacture uses the same type of plastic (probably vendor also) and EVERY MANUFACTURER on the planet has this issue, witch brings me to say that ALL of them should be recalled by the DOT for safety reasons due to not being able to see worth a shit in the dark.

Yes it's a heat / sunlight issue my dodges in Wyoming never have this happen & my Vegas ones die after 2 years.

Out of warranty is the perfect excuse to upgrade to LED headlights. If you want to keep the current ones, get a polishing kit and buff them back....it will last for awhile.

If out of warranty, polish that stuff off and go to any tint shop and have them 3M clear bra just the headlamp. It will never do that again. I have used this for yellowing on my kids older cars with the 3M and you will never have to worry about this ever again. Either way, bummer to see that start to happen.

Another method is to get a used OEM replacement if you can, and ceramic coat it with something like Turtle Ceramic Spray. Treat them like paint and they need to be waxed/protected.
