Picked up this knockoff pelican case on sale at harbor freight today. Drilled four small holes, grabbed four M6 hex head screws (slot into the 1in aluminum extrusion channel perfectly), some neoprene and fender washers and bolted this up. Previously I ran the large thule catch-all box in the background for trips, however it is large and not the best for organizing stuff. I will run one or two of these low profile gun-style cases for trips moving forward.

I will spend some time dialing in the internal organization on this. Below shows some gear tossed in to get an idea. I'm thinking I will run two of them, one with camp gear, one with tools and bike shit.upload_2020-12-14_20-8-28.jpg

He'll yes! You're the only other tacoma I've ever seen with it.

Going on like 5 years for me having it on.

As I recall, mine only took about a week or so. ** EDIT** - That was for the "treatment" not a swap. Just woke up.

Side story - the loaner was a late model base truck. I never used a back-up camera before and thought, 'Yeah, whatever". Then one day it started to drizzle on the way
to work. I reached for the wiper stalk and realized it didn't have intermittent wipers.

Really? It has a camera, but not something that has been standard on every vehicle since the 80s?

Those with JBA UCAs, how did you reattach the abs wire? There is a hole drilled for the mount, but there's no way it will reach without modifying the bracket. Are yall just using zipties?
