The IMSempari 2019 Tacoma DCSB UEV build

OK, So I've learned so much from everyone's sharing of information here, we decided to start a thread for our vehicle.

The truck was bought November 30, 2019. We are avid campers and the truck will be a daily driver and UEV (Urban Escape Vehicle) for camping. We want as much (or all) gear stored in the truck and ready to go.

December 2018:
Added Glove Box Organizer
Added Center console divider
Added Center console tray
Alarm Upgraded (glass/tilt) and Pop N Lock installed at JG Audio & Alarm, Berkeley
Front Camera mod/equipment ordered (anytimebackupcamera)
DMM Ordered and Installed
Switch Plate cubby ordered
Ordered RCI Rock Sliders 12-7-2018
Ordered RCI under-truck armor 12-12-2018
Tailgate clamps installed
@Papadave418 's kitchen box hardware ordered

January 2019:
Ordered A.R.E. CX HD shell with OTR option

Oh My! New Years Day we decided to take a trip to the forest. Ended up on a mountain logging road that got narrower and narrower with brush overgrowth and big big ruts. Only a shovel in the truck and prayers.

We and the mighty Tacoma made it out but the paint, oh my my!



Made an appointment with JG the local detailers; this is definitely a job for pros! I am not going to attempt it. Ouch Will post after pictures.

 

Here are the after pictures. JG Alarm and Detail in Berkeley does amazing work!

I think the vinyl between the windows may need to come off!


I think I need new fender flares, Line-x'ed!
Also, the TRD stickers came off...Much nicer look I think.
