Needing some help here from some people who have swapped parts from 2 totally different vehicles.

My plan is to remove my stock halogen fogs from my 2017 TRD Sport (because I’m getting SS3 Pros next week).

I drive a 2008 mazda 3 to work and back to save miles on my truck. Most of my drive time in the winter involves me on the road before the sun is up and after the sun is set. That being said, I want to add some kind of fogs for “extra” lighting.
The car has places in the bumper from factory for fogs to be installed as an option, but didn’t come with any.
Just can’t decide if the Toyota fogs would fit and if I could get them to line up decently since they aren’t engineered to be that low to the ground.
Brackets may be a problem also.(Haven’t had time to remove them from the truck and see about fitment in the Mazda bumper.)
What are the chances this could work?

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Hell just give me an opinion.

I think it would be too much fabrication to get it to work and look right.

I would get some small LED pods (Baja Design S1's) for example and mount them low somewhere and have them on a separate relay and switch.

Yeah I thought about small pods. I just hate to take the OEM fogs out and lay them on a shelf..

Look on Ebay if you want something that will fit, I just did. They have Aftermarket and OEM for your vehicle.

On Ebay I typed 2008 Mazda 3 Factory Fog Lights, Or you could do 2008 Mazda 3 OEM Fog Lights.

With enough cutting and determination I’m sure you could make them fit. :sawzall:

You are in possession of both cars so I have a feeling a measuring tape would tell you a lot more than folks on TW. All we can do is speculate.

You can always sell them in the classifieds. They'll fetch $30-40, not far from what an eBay kit would cost for the Mazda3.
