Looking at sliders and obviously the bolt on ones are more expensive. From my research weld on is also stronger. I don't offroad except for the occasional field during deer season, just want the sliders for steps and added protection from door dings or road debris. So my question is are there any cons to doing weld on sliders? If they are stronger and cheaper I'm all for it. How much does it usually run to have them welded on?

Sliders won't prevent door dings or road debris. It's to protect the lower rocker panel under the doors. Get bolt on, thats fine. I do rock crawling and have no issues with bolt ons.

I had my sliders from 4xinnovations welded on and after shipping and labor costs it came out to about the same as a set of bolt on sliders. I found a shop to do the labor for $340. I haven’t needed to test out the sliders yet but they look and feel plenty strong especially when used as a step.

Do you guys offer the mild/light option? Hadn't thought about the insurance/warranty component with weld on.

Central Oklahoma. I couldn't figure out the difference between the three versions on your website.
