Who still feels confident in towing a boat with their truck having 200k+ miles on it? I’d like to pull my boat 2-3 hours and I’d to think I wouldn’t have any issues, but curious as to who still does it?

I would do it no problem, since I keep up on normal mantainence regularly, check such things as belt idlers, u joints, serpentine belt, and keep everything tight and up to date.

I am at 180,000 and regularly tow a 3500 lb travel trailer and also a Rhino 700 SXS on Flatbed 4 hrs at a time. I have replaced the water pump, other hi miles items to watch are fuel pump, alternator, etc.

@morrispeaz Did you ever fix the transmission problem you had over 2 years ago. If not, I wouldn’t even hook onto the trailer.
