If you do a good job documenting the truck then you’re golden. Many of us look out of state but it’s too risky with how shitty people make their ads these days. Most out of state sellers I talked to couldn’t be bothered to answer all my not picky questions or take extra pics. I couldn’t be confident that their “great” condition was the same as mine.

Do a good job being transparent about the vehicle and FULLY document every inch and every flaw and I wouldn’t mind a flight and a fun road trip home. Check out Bring A Trailer for how to properly put together a for sale ad.

Would I fix something myself like that? If I had the ability, perhaps.

Would I pay market rate for that? Nope.

Be interesting to see how that one goes..but all about what the market will bear. Can't blame people for cashing in..can always take less than asking much easier than ask for more.

May seem a tad high, but it'll sell if the frame is not rusted. Normally you will see some rust on the tow hitch area but this one is clean. It looks to be very well kept and maintained. Well maintained 160k miles I have zero issue with. My only concern would be an expected clutch replacement. It's all about supply and demand on the area. I have no issue paying more locally on a well maintained Tacoma to avoid the added expense and hassle of travel/transport of an out of area or state vehicle. Costs even out.

I bought mine last October after looking for over a year. Paid $19k for 2010 DCSB SR5 4x4 105k miles and it was generally $5-$7k less than anything in the area. That truck would be listed here for $16k all day long.

About to go buy this truck! Just sold my 97 taco:( bitter sweet. 22RE was good to me...im nervous about this 06 seems like there's a lot of head gasket issues around 150,000...and this trucks rolling close to 150.
What do you think guys...? 06 4.0 6 cylinder is bueno? Im about to call and see if it was made in the early years of 06 or the later years of 06

personally I don't think tats too high of a price considering the suspension, the camper, the tires, and that sub...I mean I wouldn't want to pay more for a sub but its part of the package..you could always sell that.. but I would consider it as part of the price

Nothing wrong with going to look at it, but I'd be VERY wary of that truck and do a very thorough inspection before purchasing. That truck looks like it's lived a very rough life. You can see the dings/dents you mention, the front end also does not look straight. I ran a Carfax and it's had 4 owners and no fewer than 3 accidents: hit a tree, hit a light pole and was involved in a rear end accident. There is a good amount of entries for dealership services so thats good unless it was a lemon and was in/out of the dealer all the time for issues.
