    Hey y’all(corrected!)(that means you all)

Matt here, new to the Tacoma. Been looking for one for months, finally pulled the trigger on this '12 TRD Sport. Super clean, 120k, one owner, all maintenance, and had work done that I was going to do. So, no brainer.
Came from a '16 CTS-V and previous was an '09 V. Been waiting for the new one to be announced and wanted a small truck, Tacoma was the only option for me.
Wanted a truck I could daily drive and not worry about being in the weather. Well, I found myself reorganizing my garage so it would fit. HA.

Already looking to add some stuff. I love the TRD Pro grill, and I want to swap out the side rail with some nice rock sliders, and eventually grab a new bumper.

Or I'll just keep it as is. Diggin this Tacoma.

    Nice looking truck.
I think you’ll find the Tacoma much more versatile than the V.

    Welcome to TW.

Buy or mod to your need, not to your desire. What you did to your garage--adjusting to make space--is a good start. That way, your wallet will be able to meet your needs and your desires.

Great looking Tacoma! Welcome to the TW. I am 2 months in the club now with new to me 13 sport. I’m loving it and have done a few things to it. One of the things I like is that they hold their value so well , which delayed entry for me because... they hold their value so well...

Price is a touchy one, depending on your area the prices are really different. I’m in Idaho and they are in demand. There’s one just like yours at a dealer down the street for $29,995. Most will say that’s too much and maybe it is, but that’s about the going rate from dealerships here.

Thanks everyone. Yeah the TRD sport was what I wanted, and was hard to find in the condition I wanted with the things I wanted. These Tacomas really hold their value and for good reason.
I agree, price is relative and what I paid was well worth what I got, so I'm happy about that. $50,000 for a 2012 Tacoma was a good deal. ;)
Previous owner changed out the struts, not sure if he did springs too. Gonna have to dig into that
It's got struts on the hood and the tailgate which is nice

Welcome and congratulations! I love my 2012 (traded up from 2005). Make sure you check if the recalls were done, as there were a couple! Enjoy

O.P. check with Toyota too see if the air pump/smog has been replaced under warranty,12 Tacomas had problems with them.

No open recalls and that air pump was replaced in October by Toyota. Sweet!
