DC Plugs (Cigarette lighter Plugs)

My plugs seem extremely loose. I constantly have to push in on whatever I have plugged in to ensure it is seated all the way. They also seem to be loose as an assembly as well what I mean by that is they seem loose in the dash. Has anyone had the same type of issue and what did you do to correct it.

No, but I did recently swap out one with a dual usb charging socket.
During the installation, I was surprised to find that the cigarette socket isn't threaded.
The center silver piece presses (upper right) into an outer sleeve, with another another plastic end cap.

The following image gives you an idea of how it's assembled (found image online).

You might be able to adjust the metal tabs (on the center silver barrel) to keep it from coming loose?

Another option might be to simply swap it out for one of those aftermarket usb sockets that have a threaded body
