    Does anyone know of a decent campsite that is nearish to the trailhead? Are campfires even allowed currently in this area? If I can get off work early Fri I wouldn't mind driving out and camping that night then meeting up in the morning.

    I think both you and @sicki were there for the trail run I was on where that happened too. One, maybe 2 trucks airing up with like 15 others just waiting. His rig looked to have the most parts on it but probably fewest dirt miles :rofl:
