recommend lock for the hitch ball and tir?

    Receiver, receiver lock, and receiver cap all nicely fit in the side cubby on my '17. Cap or receiver is always hooked up on my truck. Luckily all my trailers sleep inside so I have no real theft deterrent past a trailer lock which is always on the trailer. Bolt cutters would mow through it in about 2 seconds though.

    4" grade 8 - 5/8(edit) bolt with washers on each end, spring washer and loctite.
