Thinking of painting the wheels all black on my new sport. Opinions ?
    Gloss or matte?

Matte vinyl decals. 30-ish bucks, no painting required, and no chance of damaging your wheels if you royally screw the pooch when doing it:

Though those are the new style wheels. I'm sure someone on Etsy has a pattern for you by now.

If you do, I would go matte. Trying to keep anything gloss black looking clean is almost impossible.

I got my FJ wheels repowder coated and machined two years ago at AWRS. They have shops nationwide. Cost me about $650 for everything and they had my truck for 2 days. Just another option to consider. Powder coating is awy more durable than paint.
