Back to bike news, I wanna give a huge shoutout to JensonUSA. Called them Tuesday after OnTrac royally botched a package delivery last Sunday, and about 10 mins later, a replacement order was in the system and shipped this morning no charge to me. 2 tires and a seat clamp aren't exactly cheap either.

Can’t believe I’m still riding dirt in Minnesota in mid-December.

They probably have some level of contract and were able to take it up with them. Or they say "Anything less than $200, just do it" or something like that. Cool beans!

    :stayontopic:

    With my new bike:
    - Need to replace some bolts. They're New England, sitting around, might have a bit of rust on them. So, I need to either pull them and clean them, OR replace them.
    - Need tires. That was one of the big gripes on the reviews of that bike was the tires were junk compared to everything else on there
    - Will do tubeless when I get the new tires on there. Probably just going to keep everything stock, though. Don't like the silver spokes but oh well.
    - Need a dropper post
    - MIGHT get a new brake lever. Brakes are okay, but has a two finger brake lever.

For sure, It was very clearly an OnTrac issue so it was pretty black and white. But to just cut a replacement before having to wait for an investigation to pan out and find nothing is nice. Surely they have some customer retention reship policy, but as someone who for a time was out $180, it was a big win.

what kind of brakes? broke a lever on my sram codes earlier this year. ended up getting a new lever assembly to replace it. i still have the old assembly and a new lever, but am missing some bearings for it. spent a week looking around online, but couldnt find the specific part i needed. so there are parts lying around now.

    Shimano (good) M355 (meh)

Sorry, correction: Most of the "negative" to any reviewers were: tires, and brakes. Otherwise, for the price, awesome. With those, for the price, still good but could be better.

He’s been having issues posting, but I know on our trip he wore a hip pack. Obviously we were in a group though

Not too often. We'll have to rip around some trails sometime! So many fun trails around the metro.

Same here with Utah. Gotten a lot more limited in the last week, but until then it was an odd experience.

I bought these same shorts. I really like the shorts but the gooch pad is a little too much for me. The pad that came in my fox shorts is just about perfect.

I see, those should be nice for the moola. That's why I went with those shorts was cost and with extra removable pad.
I was going to just go with cheap padded undies, but decided to try biking without walmart russel specials for a change. :anonymous:
