When creed broke out the tall vise jaws the other day, I thought to myself, yep them are handier than a pocket on a nightgown. 20201217_082301.jpg

Wondered if you still have these? I had no idea what it was for until a supplemental machinist helper come in a couple years after I got the 2 vise and told me...lol a stop for the back jaw. That's handy too. Super secret job going on here. Lift block.20201217_152724.jpg

I felt this thread was a little too quiet today, thought I’d add some randomness.
Did anyone check in on Creed? Last I heard he was the only man on deck in the shop and was pulling off some sketchy match-eeinin’. Hope that tin man’s hat didn’t get loose from the jaws and ricochet off the wall and into his noggin’.:help:

I know the feeling. I feel that way about painting, or home remodeling projects just because I'm not proficient at them, woodworking falls in that category too. For home remodeling work I call on a cousin who is a general contractor. My late FILaw liked woodworking in his retirement and made some nice stuff.

Some moments in life it really is worthwhile to put these phones down for special moments. I know how used to we get to having them now though. I've gone off to work a couple of times without mine and kind of freak out. I mean I survived just find it's just that moment you realize. ETA: oh my god I don't have my cell phone!
