Baofeng / handheld radio RAM ball mount

    This is a Rugged Radios brand mount for the
    $19 Baofeng UV-5R VHF/UHF Dual Band Radio 144-148MHz 420-450MHz Transceiver
    Baofeng UV-5R and similar radios + a RAM ball mount plate I attached to the back of it. I drilled/tapped holes in the mount to line up with the RAM diamond base and then bolted it altogether with some loctite. I used it for one outing and am now changing over to a more permanent mobile radio setup.

    Combo cost $33 from Amazon + some miscellaneous fasteners and supplies. I'll ship it to you for $27.50.

    PS: If it's not clear from the photo, this holds the radio unit itself and a mic/speaker off to the side.
