I have a 2005 toyota tacoma 2.7 and need to find out where my heater control valve is located. If anyone knows I would appreciate it. Thanks

I don't think there is one, I'm pretty sure it's all controlled with the blend door. If you have no heat you need to first see if your hoses are hot, if they are then check if your actuator for the blend door is working.

I've looked it up and from what I can find there is one but I can't find a location. Problem is no hot air coming into cab, temp gauge keeps going up and down (but not over half). It's not overheating and no loss of coolant. Replaced thermostat with oem and tested before putting it in works fine. Also once in awhile if u revv it up it will blow hot air but no all the time.

Doesn't show up on the components diagram, my bet is restricted heater core. Remove both hoses from the heater inlets and flush water through it with a garden hose in both directions and see if it gets better.

I know couldn't find it either on a diagram but they sell one for my year. Who knows. I'll try flushing water through and go from there. Thank you

If there is one it's gonna be inline in one of the heater hoses between the firewall and the engine.

Took heater core hoses off with it running and up to temp and no flow coming from either hose until it is revved up.

Are you certain it's full of coolant?

    First:
There is no Valve in the heater coolant lines. It is all controlled by the blend door servo inside the truck and coolant flows through the heater core all the time.

    Second:
If you have no coolant flowing with the heater hoses disconnected then you either have a defective water pump ( low possibility ). There is a huge air pocket in the engine block that is preventing the pump from getting a suction.

Park the truck nose up on a hill so the radiator is the highest point. Take off the radiator cap and run the engine until it is warmed up. Massage the radiator hoses and burp the air out of the engine block.
