Yea trust me I know my previous vehicle was a Tacoma. I was asking my question more of getting a vehicle that serves my needs right now at 23 or spend more and get a vehicle that will serve my needs for a lifetime and be a vehicle I have always been a fan of hence owning one already. Also I am a huge Toyota fan so not leaving for any other vehicle.

Haha here was my previous response to that already
"Yea im sure some vehicles are safer than others except a higher safety rating isn't the determing factor on what I decide on. Also they don't necessarily have poor ratings either jusr not as high as another vehicle per say"

I sold the 06 Tacoma a few days ago now thats why I am in the market. Yea wish I was a fan of crossovers/suvs because it would be an easy choice. But sadly I wouldn't feel comfortable spending on one cause I don't like it.

That article is almost 20 years old so l am sure there are differences from then. The Asshat behind the wheel texting and surfing the web is probably one of the bigger issues today.

Yeah, I still found it interesting. It's hard to find a study that adjusts for so many different variables.

I think I'd rather head on my ES into a Accord at 45, than my Tundra into an F150 tho. Bottom line is I don't 'feel' safer in the Tundra than the ES. I do feel safer in both than I did in my Tacoma.

They are all much safer than they were 20 years ago.

I think you know what you want
Buy a Tacoma and take good care of it
If at some point you don’t want it any more you can sell it for top dollar. It sounds like you may have regrets if you don’t.

How about $200 for a 93 Corolla wagon that needs rockers and the shifter cable hooked up?B7CBBCAE-9E32-4AC5-9A4A-F108BD093094.jpgLady can’t give it away. I’ve been looking at it for a year, already. Edit: maybe if it had a snorkel...

If we're going by my Civic, it was indeed a 4 star rating for a 2014 as well. As per the IIHS both vehicles receive good ratings across the board, except the headlights in my year Tacoma receive a poor rating for inadequate visibility (which we probably all know, lol).

OP, in the experience of driving small cars for the majority of my life, albeit smaller than the Camry you are considering, the truck was a better choice by far. That's just my opinion. Have you given both a test drive?
