Curious as to how many of you are running coils rated at 600lbs with a full metal bumper and winch.

I’m getting Kings installed, and divided about upgrading my spring weight since I won’t have my CBI Covert bumper and winch for at least 3-4 months! Thinking about running the 600lb springs for now until my bumper becomes available.

I run 600lb coils with no sway bar and bumper/winch. Soft but safe.

Thanks man. Perhaps I can stick to the springs without worrying about upgrading when my bumper and winch arrive.

The only downside is you have to crank that spring down to get the height you want with all that weight. I just got my 14 inch springs in today to remedy that problem.

Are you installing the suspension yourself? Do you have a wall mounted coil compressor to change the springs yourself?

If the answer to either of those questions is no, I’d just go with the proper rated springs for your near future setup rather than doing the work twice in a short amount of time. A couple months of slightly stiffer ride won’t kill you.

Thanks for the advice man! Would be great to avoid the hassle of doing it again.
