I've been seeing some posts about heavy winch use deforming the frame horn caps, or even tearing them.

I will be running a modified BAMF hybrid front bumper with their reinforcement brackets but is it worth plating the caps or otherwise fairly easy modification while I'm already welding stuff all over the frame?
