i would set the air pressure at 30psi cold. It will loose air pressure during the cold months. MPG will suffer in cold temps also.

I've never seen dangerous hot air from a tire in all my years. Maybe from towing and free way driving.

on the highway? 24/7? wtf? thats way to low.

its not rocket science. run what the recommended tire pressure says on the tire. You dont need to change it just because there is 3" of snow on the roads

I run 29 psi. Dealership delivered my 2020 TRD Sport Premium to me with 40 psi all around which was fine in summer but gave me horrible traction in the snow and ice. Dropped it down to 29 psi and was fine. Took it in for first service and oil change and guess what... Back to 40 psi all around and terrible traction. Good thing I do not plan on going to the dealership for any future services. Kind of a liability for them to over inflate tires. Even the quick lube I worked at as a teen set the tires per the door placard!

Dealer set mine to 40 psi and I aired down to 29 psi when I thought it was could enough. I checked it again when very cold and was still around 35 psi. Very good example of this.

I roll with the pressure on the door. I 've found I get the most even wear that way. I used to run higher, but it was crowning the centers out.

No. The tires were still warm so the pressure was higher than cold. Hence why when I checked the pressure when actually cold they were still higher than I would like.

Then it can only be that the measurements where inacurate.
Edited a nice pressure/ temperature list, while you answered.
