    I’d at least try it.

my next option is getting rid of the muffler that the spec u has and weld in the stock muffle.

if you like the flow and don't want to add a more restrictive muffler, you have the option of adding a second resonator. the Vibrants do not restrict.

If anyone is thinking of parting with their cat-less tubes, I may be in the market. For off-road use of course. :burnrubber:

I posted this in the VF for MT thread, but curious if anyone over here has run dump tubes with the AFE intake?

—— This question will probably get me laughed out of TW but here it goes...

Has anyone been able to get 2.0 with VF to “play nice” with the AFE intake with “ram air” piece?

Several member have posted that the AFE intake actually caused substantial throttle lag, and I believe Mat commented that was perhaps due to the slightly different location of the MAF.

Im not interested in a debate on the merits of an aftermarket intake. I fully understand they’re 99% just a sound making device.

I figured the sound of an intake might pair nicely with dump tubes. While there might not be any performance increase, there should definitely not be a decrease, if tuned right. ——

Thanks man, know your busy. Also I’m running the @URD U-spec exhaust I’ve also got the vf tuner and 04b04 tune pack. My question is there a tweak or tune to compensate for the CEL‘s light? Appreciate ya!

I've searched and read all 18 pages of this thread. Do dump tubes change the normal driving experience? What I mean is, I don't really care about super high rpm power. I don't race my truck. I've seen the dyno graph and I like what I see, but I'm concerned that there is a drop in power in the normal rpm range you would normally see cruising at 60mph. This range doesn't show on the dyno. What is that like real world with dump tubes

I enjoy the dump tubes on my truck with the OV Tune.
I noticed a difference in power right away. Especially off the line.

    Canada Eh!
Christmas came early and my pre-owned tubes just arrived!

Whats the specs for the new bolts required for the downstream flange? M8?

Edit - figured it out to be just over an 11mm hole, so M10 bolt. 3/8 will also work. 50mm or 2” length will work

Also, are the threaded hole in the tubes for the transmission bracket a different thread pitch than stock?
