Headlight Swap - No DRL?

I have a 2010 TRD Sport DCLB with no stock DRL function. I'm looking to swap the headlights to something more modern such as THESE. They say only fit Tacomas with stock DRLS, so if I installed them would the DRL function just not work? Any way around this? Thanks

 

Same boat with an 08, no DRL. I bought the spyder headlights and the DRL's are the parking lights

 

Just did the same with my 07, those DRL really bring the front end into this century

 

Oh yeah? So when you switch to parking lights power is sent to the headlights?

 

When toggled to the parking lights, power is sent to the "DRL's" on the new headlights only. When the switch is toggled to headlights, both headlight and "DRLs" are on
