I've owned my Tacoma Access Cab since it was new. It will be the only vehicle that I've ever owned that will go over 100K miles. Currently it's at 96K miles so I've decided to do a few things to keep it going a little longer.
I changed the spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the serpentine belt, flushed the radiator, replaced the secondary air intake filter, replaced the cabin air filter (very dirty), replaced the wiperblades, and cleaned the engine compartment.
Out of all the trucks that I've ever owned, the Tacoma is really the best truck that I've ever had. All my trucks were small to mid size. Now the mid size trucks are almost as big as the full size trucks where you have to climb up to get into the bed, I hate that. My little lowrider Taco Access cab may not be a big glitzy truck but it does what I want, gets good gas mileage and I like it.

How difficult was the cruise control and adding intermittent wipers? i have been considering the same stuff for my base model 2.7

The wipers change on my 2013 base truck was easy, just swap the wands out. On cruise control, I had to run a wire to the computer, an a wire to ground because mine wasn't pre-wired. Got new Cruise wand, an wires from a guy on Ebay. He had instructions that wasn't hard to follow

Additional note on the serpentine belt.
When installing the serpentine belt, the hardest part is getting the belt around fan blades. After that I wrapped the belt around the crank shaft pulley at the bottom and worked it counterclockwise unit it ended up at the alternator. I used a 1/2" ratchet with a 14mm socket to move the tensioner pulley and then wrap the belt around the alternator. Done.

My sentiments exactly. Enjoy your tough, awesome little truck. It might run forever.
